After being inspired by this, I decided to start up my own quilting blog. My goal is to keep track of the things I've been working on, quilt-wise, and to be able to view my own progress as a quilter. I have sort of started compiling my own quilt journal, but I figure I could get more feedback by posting things online--not to mention, it's fun to play with the internet. I hope that perhaps I can inspire some other young people to get into quilting, since it's really not just an "old lady" art as it may be perceived. Quilts can be beautiful works of art, and they can also be treasured heirlooms to be passed down through generations.
